How to sign your documents with ID verification

Here’s exactly how it works, from opening your email invite to a completed, verified signature.

1. Open your invitation
Head to your inbox and find the email invite to sign.

2. Start signing
Click the button in the email to begin.

3. Enter your pass code
Add the four-digit pass code to authenticate your document.

4. Choose how to verify your ID
Scan the QR code with your phone’s camera, or enter your phone number to get an SMS link instead.

5. Grant consent
On your phone, tick the box to consent to ID verification.

6. Capture your ID
Take a photo of your government-issued ID. Depending on the ID type, you may need to scan the back too.

7. Verify your face
Take a selfie for biometric face verification.

8. Head back to desktop
Once verification is successful, continue the signing process on your desktop.

9. Confirm digital signing
Click OK to consent to using electronic records and digital signature technology.

10. Review your document
Take a moment to read through the full document.

11. Find your fields
Click Next to jump straight to the fields and signature boxes.

12. Sign
Click the signature box, choose how you’d like to capture your signature, then click Sign.

13. Confirm your details
Double-check your form details before finalising.

14. Done
Your document is signed and complete.
