When ID Trust is enabled, a face match will be performed on invitees with ID Verification and/or Realify enabled in video signing and RON meetings, comparing an image of them from in the meeting with their IDV selfie and/or their Realify deepfake detection.

Step 2: Use the ID Trust Console in a video signing meeting or RON meeting

Automatic ID Trust Facial Match

The first ID Trust facial match will run automatically 30 seconds after the first invitee joins the meeting, checking the invitees’ webcams against their IDV selfie and/or their Realify deepfake detection video.

After the first ID Trust facial match, additional facial matches will be run every 3 minutes

On the second automatic facial match, a deepfake image scan will also be run on the invitees’ webcam images.

Please note the ID Trust facial match is only run for invitees who have IDV and/or Realify enabled. If no invitee has either enabled, no facial match will be run.

ID Trust Console Button and Pop-up

Once the first ID Trust facial match is completed, the ID Trust Console button will display in the top-left of the page. The colour of the button will reflect the invitee with the lowest result. The colours are as follows:

  • Green: the webcam image taken during the meeting is a likely match with the IDV selfie image and/or the image from the Realify deepfake detection.
  • Orange: either the facial match result was suspicious, that there was no face found in at least one of the invitees’ webcams, or that the name on at least one of the invitees’ IDs did not match the ‘Signer Name’.
  • Red: the webcam image did not match the IDV selfie and/or the image from the Realify deepfake detection for at least 1 invitee.

Clicking the button will display the ID Trust Console pop-up, where each invitee will have a drop-down bar showing the following information and buttons:

  • The invitee’s full name.
  • Name match result – shows whether invitee’s name matches the name on their ID.
  • Facial match result – shows the facial match result for that invitee.
  • Retry Realify Scan button – runs another Realify deepfake detection for that invitee.
  • Rerun Facial Match button – runs another facial match for that invitee.

Clicking the drop-down bar shows more details about the invitee’s facial match, including the following:

  • Name on ID: this shows the name on the invitees ID. This only displays if the invitee completed IDV.
  • Signer Name: this shows the signers name as entered when they were invited to sign.
  • 2 or 3 images, depending on whether they have only IDV enabled, only Realify enabled, or both enabled.
  • Pre meeting – IDV: this displays the selfie image taken during IDV, the facial match result, and whether they passed IDV. Clicking the image displays the IDV results.
  • Pre meeting – Realify: this displays the image taken from the Realify Deepfake Detection, the facial match result, and whether they passed Realify. Clicking the image displays the Realify results.
  • During Meeting – this shows the image taken of the invitee’s webcam during the meeting, which is compared to their IDV selfie and/or Realify Deepfake Detection. The deepfake image scan result from the second automatic facial match will also display here. If no face is detected in the webcam image, the text ‘No Face in Meeting’ will display here.

ID Trust is a feature that runs a facial match comparing an image taken of the invitee’s webcam during a Video Signing or RON meeting with images taken before the invitee joins the meeting, specifically the selfie taken during ID Verification and/or an image taken during the Realify deepfake detection.

ID Trust runs the first facial match 30 seconds after the first invitee joins the meeting and runs an additional facial match every 3 minutes throughout the session.
