  • By Enabling Notary feature in your Secured Signing account you agreed to these terms of use after you agreed on Secured Signing Terms of use and Privacy and you acting as a Notary Public.
  • Secured Signing Notary is a feature in the Secured Signing Digital Signature platform that enables commissioned notaries to perform eNnotarizations using Secured Signing. You acknowledge that, although eNotarizations may be accepted in certain states generally, certain counties, cities, agencies, entities, businesses, countries and more, may not accept eNotarized documents.
  • YOU NEED TO SATISFY YOURSELF THAT THE DOCUMENT YOU ARE PROPOSING TO NOTARIZE USING OUR DIGITAL SIGNING SERVICES IS CAPABLE OF BEING SIGNED IN THAT MANNER. YOU SHOULD BE AWARE THAT CERTAIN COUNTRIES STATUTES DICTATE HOW DOCUMENTS SHOULD BE NOTARIZE FOR WHICH ENOTARIZE MAY NOT BE VALID.
  • Secured Signing is not responsible for determining whether any document: (i) is subject to an exception in applicable eNotarization laws; (ii) is subject to any particular agency rules or regulations pertaining to electronic notarization; or (iii) can be notarized electronically under applicable law.
  • You understand that Secured Signing provide X509 digital certificate issue by Secured Signing Certificate Authority at this point of time; however, some states may require to use trusted certificate authority. The Public Notary responsible for meeting any digital certificate requirements, and Secured Signing is not responsible for the cost of acquiring the certificate or for the effectiveness of any purchased digital certificate. Not all digital certificates will work with Secured Signing platform, contact us for any further information.
  • The Public Notary acknowledges that, by using the Notary feature, and consent to Notary document log / journal entries being made available to the Secretary of State or other reviewing government agency in charge of commissioning You as a notary. Secured Signing makes no representations and warranties that the Secured Signing eNotary Document Log feature is sufficient to meet Your legal reporting requirements.
